Draughtsman

My client is looking for a Tekla Detailer to join their team near Hull. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside the Structural Engineer and Technical Lead on a range of projects, focusing on the design, fabrication, and erection of glasshouses and associated fit-out items.

The selected candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality design, fabrication, and erection drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing detailed 3D models and drawings for steel structures, including glasshouses and fit-out components


• Preparing fabrication and erection drawings to industry standards


• Collaborating with the Structural Engineer and Technical Lead to ensure accuracy and efficiency


• Generating Bills of Materials and other documentation required for manufacturing and site installation


• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tekla Detailer within the steel industry


• Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD


• Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication, and erection processes


• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings


• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
