Drill Pipe Inspector

Our client is currently recruiting for a Drill Pipe Inspector. Based in Aberdeen, the role is permanent, fulltime basis.

ROLE

The inspector will be a competent individual, who can assess DP and BHA thread condition in detail, providing recommendations to resolve issues. This will be a hands on role

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of API, DS1 and NS2 inspection standards for Drill Pipe and BHA.
• MPI ASNT Level 2 certified
• Able to read and interpret specifications and procedures
• Capacity to understand and record results of inspection and tests.
• Capable of performing non-destructive examination using ultrasonic, magnetic particle and visual methods.
