Driver / Walker Postal

Responsibilities:

• Commence each day at the local delivery office, organising and gathering mail/parcels for distribution.
• Utilise a handheld device to obtain customer signatures for deliveries and receive routing instructions.
• Expect physically demanding tasks
• Perform both driving and/or on-foot delivery duties, occasionally utilising a trolley for transport.

Essential Skills:

• If driving, hold a valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferable).
• While prior delivery or driving experience is advantageous, it is not obligatory.
• Demonstrate strong time management and organisational capabilities.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a dedication to providing good customer service.
• Commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• All candidates selected with undergo a DBS check.
