Job Title: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Horley
Contract: Temporary (Monday to Wednesday, from Easter)
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant educational institution from Easter. This is a temporary assignment, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students through practical lessons, fostering a love for food technology and culinary arts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality practical lessons in Food Technology, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
• Develop and implement engaging curriculum materials that cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo a new DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge and experience in teaching Food Technology.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
