About the Role:

As a Secondary DT Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Design and Technology to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire and challenge students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and contribute to the school's DT curriculum development.
• Participate actively in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience as a DT Teacher in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK DT curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective classroom management skills with a focus on fostering a positive learning environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
• A commitment to maintaining high educational standards for all students
