Duct Fitter (Shop Fitter experience)

Job Description: Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Duct Fitter with Shop Fitter experience to join our team in London. The Duct Fitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork for HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a Blue CSCS card and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install ductwork according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Assemble and secure duct sections using hand tools and welding equipment
• Inspect and repair existing ductwork as needed
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as HVAC technicians and electricians, to ensure proper installation
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Valid Blue CSCS card
• Previous experience as a Duct Fitter or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Day-to-day

• Measure and cut duct sections
• Assemble and install ductwork using hand tools and welding equipment
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
