An exciting position has become available for a Key Account Sales Manager to join this expanding Swindon based Company.

Ideally you will be based in the M4 Corridor/M40 and already have excellent, proven ability to take on accounts and fully develop them.

Your responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities within the existing customers with around 40 accounts to properly manage.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

The package includes a salary 50K plus 10 to15K commission (uncapped) Company car, 20 days holiday plus 3 days over Christmas shut down, contributory pension scheme.

The Role

You will be identifying and winning news business from existing group key accounts and supporting the growth to help each account achieve its full potential. Primarily focusing on national operators and OEMs of drink dispense equipment.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is hungry to succeed and a natural relationship builder

The successful candidate will have experience in developing key accounts and be able to demonstrate past successes. Technical sales experience would also be beneficial, ideally within the drinks dispense industries (beer, soft drinks, coffee, vending, water & catering).

A self-starter who is determined to achieve and exceed targets, IT literate and confident working with Microsoft packages, CRM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Regularly meeting with customers face-to-face to build relationships with multiple departments and levels to truly align our business with our customers;
  • To be the 1st point of contact for customers promoting the best solution and package to meet the customers’ needs from the complete company product portfolio;
  • To meet and exceed the territory sales & margin targets and business metric targets for activity.  Keeping track and maintaining a fluid pipeline of business
  • Study the market to identify new business opportunities, market trends and competitor activity
  • Prepare, generate and negotiate quotations, meeting company pricing guidelines and customers’ logistic needs;
  • Troubleshooting to help resolve any issues
  • Ensure effective and timely administration including the putting together of updates and the provision of reports showing product demand forecasts along with sales.
  • You will book your own customer meetings and plan effectively to cover all the territory and customers.
  • Grow the customer base while developing existing customers
  • Working with internal sales team, and wider company, to ensure shared goals are achieved.
