🚀 Consultant Business Analyst – Up to £80,000 DOE 📍
Location: Hybrid (Guildford office + London client sites + home working)
💷
Salary: Up to £80,000 depending on experience
I’m currently working with a fantastic consultancy that’s looking for a
Consultant Business Analyst to join their growing team — and if you're someone who thrives on solving problems, shaping digital solutions, and working closely with people to make a real impact, this could be the role for you.
They’re a specialist Microsoft partner doing some brilliant work across the
public sector, delivering intelligent automation, Power Platform-based solutions, and cutting-edge applications — recently picking up an award for an AI project at the
Department of Health & Social Care.
About the role: This is a great opportunity for someone who loves getting under the skin of business problems and designing solutions that truly add value. You’ll be at the heart of projects from day one — leading discovery sessions, engaging stakeholders, modelling business processes, and writing high-quality user stories that the dev team can bring to life.
It’s a client-facing, agile environment with a lot of variety, exposure to modern tech, and a genuinely collaborative culture.
You’ll be doing things like:\n- Leading workshops and discovery sessions
\n- Capturing requirements and translating them into actionable user stories
\n- Modelling business processes and identifying areas for improvement
\n- Working closely with dev and delivery teams in an Agile setup
\n- Coaching more junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement
\n
What they’re looking for: ✅
Must-haves:\n- Strong Business Analysis experience (ideally in Agile environments)
\n- Background in software delivery and/or consulting
\n- Experience in process modelling, user story writing, and stakeholder engagement
\n- Confident working with clients and challenging requirements constructively
\n- Eligible for SC clearance
\n
⭐
Nice-to-haves:\n- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
\n- Awareness of AI tools (Co-Pilot, Azure AI Builder, Open AI)
\n- Experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum
\n- Familiarity with Azure, UX/UR, or GDS Service Design principles
\n
Why this one stands out:\n- \nHybrid flexibility – typically 2 days in the Guildford office, rest from home/client site
\n- \nSupportive, no-politics culture – people genuinely enjoy working here
\n- \nExposure to award-winning projects and the latest Microsoft tech
\n- \nCareer growth – this team is scaling fast, and there’s loads of opportunity
