E&I Technician

E&I Technician - Chemicals - up to �48,000

We are working with a leading global supplier of speciality chemicals who are looking for an E&I Technician to join their team in Widnes.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned maintenance of plant machinery and site facilities
• Communicate task progress with relevant stakeholders
• Reactive repair of machinery
• Install new equipment and modify existing equipment as required
• Carry out E&I testing, inspection, calibration and reporting of plant condition
• Develop a maintenance strategy for machinery, plants and infrastructure on site

Experience

• Proven competence in a similar role
• PLC's - Siemens S7 PLC (step7/ TIA portal)
• Motor Control & Inverter Drives
• Industrial communications: Profinet, Profibus
• Instrumentation - Level , Flow, Pressure, Temperature, pH
• Fault Finding & Planned Maintenance
• CMMS (Avantis/SAP)
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound computer literacy skills

Qualifications

• HNC in related subject
• NVQ level 3 E&I
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
