EA Framework Operations Manager - Location: Flexible - Salary £60k plus company Car
Are you an experienced operations professional with a passion for delivering impactful projects? Do you thrive in collaborative environments and have a knack for managing frameworks and contracts? Join us as an EA Framework Operations Manager and play a key role in driving the success of critical construction projects across the UK.
The Role To oversee the application of a number of the Company's Framework Contracts and be a key operations contact for their staff, strategic delivery partners and others using this delivery vehicle.
You will become the recognised authority giving sound advice on Framework interpretation and actively promoting its take up by other Risk Management Authorities.
You will assist the Operations & Construction Directors to ensure all the teams get the maximum benefit from these arrangements.
You will be able to apply the Framework to complex projects and programmes of work that embed best practice and develop long-term collaborative partnership arrangements that deliver for both the company and society.
The EA Framework Management Team provides region-wide support to all the company teams accessing several discreet frameworks and standalone contracts.
You will be seen as a champion of effective operational, governance and framework management, and you will quickly develop excellent relationships internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery: Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring a gross margin of at least 38%.
Monitor and forecast operational and commercial project performance.
Manage procurement, timelines, risk assessments, and project documentation.
Maintain detailed site records and ensure compliance with governance structures.
Lead reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
Team Management: Provide clear goals and updates to team members, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Develop and maintain technical expertise across teams, optimising performance and knowledge-sharing.
Motivate and manage teams, ensuring skill levels are maintained and team KPIs are met.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Set exemplary HSE standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and identify training requirements for teams.
Ensure accurate material and waste management across all sites.
General: Uphold organisational aims and objectives, actively participating in training and meetings.
Ensure adherence to equal opportunities, health and safety, data protection, and other relevant policies.
Were seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional with: Proven experience in operational and framework management, ideally within the Construction (industrial and commercial) background with Civil Engineering experience.
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
A collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust and foster relationships with stakeholders.
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional results.
