Overview: Trainee Early Years Assessor

Are you an experienced Early Years manager who would like to become an Early Years apprenticeship assessor?

This role is open to both qualified and unqualified assessors.

The role is home based with learners located in the Cornwall area.

Purpose of the role: Trainee Early Years Assessor

Once qualified, you will be managing a caseload of Early Years and Teaching Assistant apprenticeship learners (including Functional Skills), both remotely (via telephone, video, email) and visits to the learner in their place of work. Providing mentorship and coaching to the learner through to completion of their Early Years and Teaching Assistant apprenticeship qualifications.

Trainee Early Years Assessor: Essentials

  • At least 3 years Early Years management experience
  • L5 or equivalent Early Years related qualification
  • UK driving license and use of own transport
  • Home Based - covering Cornwall and the surrounding area
  • A mixture of home working/remote and visiting learners in their place of work, in and around the Cornwall area

Trainee Early Years Assessor : Salary and Expenses

  • �32k - �34k annual salary
  • Gaining qualifications on the job, such as TAQA assessor qualification
  • The role is full-time, permanent
