Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum for children in the early years
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualised attention and support to each child's developmental needs
- Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the classroom and materials
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator certificate or equivalent (Level 2 may also be considered so please do apply)
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children
