A lovely primary school in Greenwich are looking to recruit a trained Early Years Educator to join their team on a full-time basis from September.

The Role

In this role you will be based in one of the school’s reception classes. You will be working alongside teachers and other established members of staff to provide engaging learning activities for the pupils. As a 2-form entry school, you will be working in a year group team to following planning and undertake observations. The school are looking for an Early Years Educator who has a good knowledge of Read, Write, Inc and can bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach.

 The School

This modern, forward-thinking school is part of an academy group across the borough of Greenwich. The school moved to a brand new site 2 years ago and you will enjoy the benefit of up-to-date resources and materials in the Early Years department. The school is accessible by car and has parking on site. It is also located close mainland rail stations with local bus links. As a 2 form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the year group work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups. The school is popular within the local community and there is a culture of working closely with parents. They have a focus on closing the gap for disadvantaged pupils and provide a broad range of extra-curriculum opportunities.

• Hold a relevant EYFS level 3 qualification
• Good knowledge of Read, Write, Inc
• have a good knowledge of play-based learning,
• Be available to start in September 2024 on a full-time basis
