KiddyKare are looking for an Early Years Educator for a lovely little setting of up to 25 children aged between two and five years. The nursery occupies a bright and spacious room with a large open garden for the children to play outdoors.
The setting boasts of its Outstanding Forest School practice where they provide children with a rich experience that is fun and allows them to explore and take charge of their learning, at their own pace.
With a salary of between £25,000 - £27,000 working 40 hours per week with a paid lunchbreak.

Duties of an Early Years Educator include:
You will be responsible for a key group and ensuring that the care and all planned, and unplanned spontaneous learning experiences, meet the differing needs, abilities, and interests of the children in your key group
Extend the learning of children in your key groups and to ensure their Progress tracker sheets are a true reflection of the progress attained by each child.
Help create an environment that nurtures childrens curiosity to question why things happen; to develop the confidence to problem-solve for themselves and in collaboration with their peers and the adults who work with them.
Attend training courses to enhance your professional development.
Ensure to the best of your capability that the health and safety of children, staff and parents is maintained at all times both inside and outside the nursery.
Requirements of an Early Years Educator:
A full and Relevant Childcare Qualification
Excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to work as part of our team and with parents and outside agencies.
A sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and a very good understanding of how children learn through play.
A very good knowledge and understanding of current legislation regarding safeguarding children.
