Hours: 8:30 – 3:30pm

Salary: £83 - £120 per day

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to work with class teachers to support children’s learning at a mainstream Primary school in Newcastle!

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated early years Teaching practitioner to join an amazing nursery school in Gateshead. As an early year’s practitioner, you will be enthusiastic about childcare and must have initiative, flare, energy and passion for childcare and education.

Early Year Practitioner role


  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 3-4.
  • Providing a safe, caring, and stimulating educational environment both indoors and outdoors
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities.
  • Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the nursery adheres to all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will:


  • Be available for work Monday to Friday (phone number removed)pm on a long-term basis. This role is term time only.
  • Willing to work with additional needs.
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us)
  • A fully checkable work history
