We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Room Leader to join our clients dedicated team at in Horsforth. As the Room Leader with 3rd in Charge responsibility, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our nursery, overseeing the management of the room and supporting the development and training of our practitioners. You will also be entrusted with the responsibility of looking after the nursery in the absence of the managers and deputy managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room Management: Take charge of the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.
- Staff Leadership: Manage and supervise the practitioners within your room, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Training and Development: Lead staff supervisions and identify training needs to enhance team performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Nursery Oversight: Assume responsibility for the overall nursery environment and operations when managers and deputy managers are not present.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the nursery team to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.

Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Early Years (Level 3 or above).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of early years education and care standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Flexibility to manage responsibilities and provide support as needed.
