Early Years Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school located in the Brinnington area of Stockport. This full-time position starts in September 2024, offering a competitive pay rate of £85 to £95 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Support individual and group learning activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Help with classroom management and administrative tasks.
• Provide personalised attention to students to promote their educational and social development.

Criteria for Suitable Candidates:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Early Years.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).
