Earthworks Project Manager

Our client are a leading Groundworks/ Earthworks & Civil Engineering Contractor with sites nationwide and they are looking for an experienced Earthworks Project Manager to manage projects.

This particular role is for a Earthworks specialist individual. Past experience within heavy bulk digs, muckaways, earth moving and large scale groundworks sites.

Nationwide role - staying away in digs. You will have your hotel covered, along with living away allowance for dinners etc.

As opposed to a Foreman/ Manager role, this is more leaning towards Project Management. I.e more stakeholder/ client facing role, alongside use of IT, to order materials, manage programme alongside the Planners, project commercials and prelims & material ordering.

You should be fully self-sufficient to manage your own project, but ofcourse will have the help of a Contracts Manager & relevant commercial counterparts.

Tasks/ Responsibilities:

* Liaising with the client

* Report progress into the Contracts Manager

* Ordering of Labour

* Ordering of Plant Chairing & attending weekly meetings

* Ordering of Materials

* Identify and resolve any issues with the project

* To be a point of contact for our client.

Skills/ Qualifications required:

* SMSTS & Black Card

* Must have experience with Micrsoft projects

* Driving License / ability to stay away

* Strong work ethic

* First Aid Certificate
