The opportunity

Due to projects ramping up, our client a leading industry organisation, is helping to take the UK’s nuclear infrastructure into the next generation. From decommissioning projects at Sellafield, to Defence, New Build at Hinkley Point C and even the cutting edge Small Modular Reactors, they offer the ability to work on a wide range of projects, ensuring that this is not your average job. As a result, they are currently seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer to join their dynamic and ambitious team.
***Please note, for these roles, you will need to be eligible for, or already hold, SC Security Clearance as a minimum. Some of these roles may also require DV Clearance. As such, we are unable to consider candidates from outside of the UK, and those who require VISA Sponsorship.***.
Estimated Salary Range

£30,000 - £50,000
Your duties and responsibilities will be




  • As an EC&I Engineer, you will be using Engineering knowledge to provide technical solutions to issues as they arise.

  • Promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams.

  • Assist in effective management of the customer.

  • Make sure relevant Codes, Procedures and Guidelines are always followed.

  • Contribute to Product Safety Assessment process.

  • Provide a technical interface with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Carry out technical investigations and analysis to provide data for problem assessment/resolution and for design of improvements.

  • Contribute to process improvement within the operational and/or design lifecycle to deliver continuous improvements in quality, cycle time and asset utilisation.

  • Produce technical documentation as required.

  • Produce, review, verify outputs including: calculations, analyses, technical reports, technical specifications and method statements

  • Plan, deliver and monitor assigned tasks and projects, ensuring requirements are delivered to time, quality and cost

  • Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working, and their development.



You will have the following qualifications & experience




  • Experience working in a multi-discipline team.

  • Communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.

  • Experience using the software AutoCAD, Amtech Trimble and Microsoft Office Suite.



It’s great if you also have the following




  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience.

  • Working towards or are willing to work towards Chartered status.
