Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Economics Teacher to join our dynamic team, beginning in September 2024. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of Economics. We welcome applications from qualified teachers and individuals with an Economics degree who are prepared to undergo their PGCE with us over a 2-year period as a trainee teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Economics curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to our commitment to educational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or a willingness to undergo a PGCE with us over 2 years.
  • A degree in Economics.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Economics.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of Economics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
