We are looking for a welcoming, organised, and customer-focused individual with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service to join an Education provider in York, as their Welcome Desk Receptionist to provide exceptional front-of-house support.
This is a temporary position for around 4 week.

Some of the key Welcome Desk Receptionist duties are:
\n- \nFirst Point of Contact: Welcome visitors, assist with enquiries online, in person, and via the switchboard, providing professional and friendly service to students, staff, and external visitors.
\n- \nCustomer Service Excellence: Deliver seamless signposting to specialist services, working with a range of internal and external visitors to ensure everyone’s needs are met.
\n- \nFire Evacuation Support: Act as a fire warden, supporting evacuation procedures and summoning emergency services as needed.
\n- \nData Protection and Confidentiality: Uphold Data Protection regulations, ensuring confidentiality in all communications with internal and external visitors.
\n- \nRoutine Administration: Handle clerical tasks, including maintaining the electronic system for pre-notified visitors and events.
\n- \nEmergency Response: Respond to emergency calls, ensuring swift coordination and informing the appropriate First Aid, Estates, and Health & Safety teams as appropriate.

To be considered for this role you must have an
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
This will be working Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, earning a salary of £11.90 per hour.
