Salter Grange is currently recruiting an�EHS Lead�to join a prominent Data Centre builder for high-profile projects in Europe, which will be a great addition to a career-conscious EHS Manager.







My client is open to the candidate's background if they can demonstrate cradle-to-grave experience on high-value construction projects in different sectors with reputable Main Contractors.







They have a proven track record developing people, but ideally, the successful H&S Manager will be in the sector and looking for that step up or step forward if you have hit a glass ceiling.







You will be working under a highly regarded Business Unit Director with great clients, a strong pipeline of work in a robust sector and a turnover reaching �2 billion; it is a great time to join the business.







Please note that you would be employed under the host country employment law. On offer is a competitive salary + Accommodation + flights + travel + bonus.









EHS Lead�Responsibilities:




  • Client EHS System Adherence: Comply with client's Safety Management system.

  • Statutory Compliance: Follow relevant EHS laws and regulations.

  • EHS Plan Adherence: Ensure compliance with client's and PSCS EHS Plans.

  • Project Execution Compliance: Meet project execution plan requirements.

  • COSHH Assessment & Control: Assess and control hazardous substances.

  • Site Audit & Corrective Actions: Conduct audits, document results, and take corrective actions.

  • Toolbox Talk Execution: Conduct necessary Toolbox talks.

  • EHS Liaison: Communicate with site Project Management on EHS matters.

  • Updated Safety File: Include current documentation in the Safety File.







EHS Lead�Requirements:




  • Relevant EHS Qualification: Possess a recognized qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) that aligns with the responsibilities of the position.

  • 5+ Years' Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in managing EHS programs and activities, preferably in a similar role or within the construction industry.

  • Current Legislation Knowledge: Stay updated and maintain a thorough understanding of current EHS legislation, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and effective implementation.

  • Flexible Working: Display flexibility in working arrangements, adapting to changing project requirements and timelines as needed while maintaining a strong focus on EHS objectives.

  • NEBOSH Certificate: Hold a valid NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) certificate or an equivalent qualification, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of EHS principles and practices.
