Electrical CAD Technician | Rochdale, Greater Manchester | Office based | Monday – Thursday , 07:45 to 16:30, Friday, 07:45 to 15:30 | £30,000 per annum

A world class, market leader in the manufacture of automatic combustion equipment is seeking an Electrical CAD technician to join their rapidly expanding firm, which exports to over 40 countries worldwide and serves a broad range of blue chip customers.

Based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, the successful CAD Technician will work full time, earning a competitive salary dependant on experience.

As an Electrical CAD Technician you will work closely with your team in order to develop new products to the company’s highest standards.

The ideal Electrical CAD Technician will have demonstrable experience in a similar role with proven success. In addition you will also possess the following:

• Experience in Autocad electrical
• Attention to detail
• Ability to overcome problems as they arise
• Passionate about your work
• Experience within a similar role

What will your role look like?

As an Electrical CAD Technician you will work closely with your team in order to develop new products to the company’s high standards. In addition, the successful Electrical CAD Technician’s core duties will include:

• Work closely with your colleagues to create wiring diagrams, cable block diagrams, interconnecting diagrams, P&IDs etc..
• Evaluating customer requirements and developing into solutions
• Creating bill of materials
• Interface to manufacturing departments
• Enhancing the product – with continuous improvement and value engineering
• Producing manufacturing drawings
