Job Overview:
The Electrical Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the electrical work of the business.
This role will not only focus on managing electrical contracts for Network but also seek to expand and integrate electrical expertise across various other areas within the group.
Responsible for managing electrical works carried out at our customer sites and leading a team of 21 Field Engineers to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. The position will be customer facing, producing quotations, providing progress reports, ensuring service level agreements are met and making recommendations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of 21 electrical field technicians.
• Assign jobs, set deadlines, and monitor the performance of team members to ensure productivity and quality.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to your field service team.
• Produce quotations and proposals for electrical works, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage the financial aspects of the electrical work.
• Help grow the electrical services department by identifying opportunities to secure new contracts or expand existing ones.
• Track project progress, manage timelines, and address any potential delays.
• Provide clients with regular updates and recommendations to address any issues or opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure that all electrical work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal quality protocols.
Experience Required:
• An approved Electrician, working at supervisory or management level.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence best practice.
• Flexibility to travel and work across various customer sites within the UK.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
• City and Guilds 2391.
• City and Guilds 2377 PAT Testing
