The below job description will outline this position of: Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (E,C& I) Engineer 



Typically, The role involves managing multiple EC&I Engineering tasks within the Major Projects Team, overseeing contract engineers or consultants working on behalf of our client. It requires building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HSEQ and Engineering teams, as well as external stakeholders such as the O&M Contractor, HSE, EA, and MOD Sponsors.

Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (E,C& I) Engineer:



• Support the Major Projects Team in meeting project and team goals whilst building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.             

• Ensure EC&I Engineering activities are compliant with policies, procedures, and safety regulations             

• Provide activity reports and management information.             

• Work with project management systems and act as the technical lead on EC&I matters for Major Projects, referring to the EC&I Technical Authority as needed.            

• Plan and manage EC&I tasks for Major Projects in line with standards and legislation.  

• Develop EC&I scopes, budgets, and forecasts.            

• Apply MOC processes throughout the project life cycle.            

• Ensure activities comply with accounting procedures, including proper authorisation and submission of expenses.

• Adhere to asset and equipment care procedures, and collaborate with Finance for budget proposals and monthly reporting.  

          

Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (E,C& I) Engineer:



•  Experience working in MAH Environments preferential.           

•  Experience managing multiple site work would be advantageous.          

•  Confident managing a budget/project finances.
