The chance to do 70% Electrical hardware design for factory automation projects�- and to spend 30% of time increasing your PLC programming skills to contribute control software too.
Electrical Design is the main part: 70%. Producing general arrangements, control panel designs, wiring schematics, safety circuitry design, specification of drives, motors, controllers for machinery, conveyors and all electrical aspects of a production line or automation project.�
E-Plan ideally, but controls hardware, Electrical Design experience is the important part. Can train across from Autocad Electrical, SEE, Promis-E etc.�
PLC Software: 30%: There is the chance to do some SIEMENS S7 PLC TIA PORTAL PLC programming, assisting Controls Engineers on smaller projects, starting slowly, rebuilding these skills again.�
Hybrid working-- 3 days from home, 2�from the office. Ideal home location: Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, possibly Coventry, Birmingham too..
