An excellent opportunity for an electrical controls engineer to work within an international manufacturing business, with great opportunities for further training and progression.

Skills required for the role of an electrical controls engineer:
PLC knowledge, fault finding and programming
SCADA
Hazardous areas COMPEX 1-4 qualification
Programming languages such as: Ladder logic, C+, and structured text
Vision controls systems experience
HNC / HND from a manufacturing or industrial environment
Process improvement and root cause analysis
Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment

As a part of this role your daily duties, you will be:
Reporting downtimes and maintenance on the CMMS system
Identify system / PLC faults and identifying the root cause
Carrying out work orders and planned maintenance
Creating new PLC programs and software updates when required
Redesign and modify plant equipment to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
Ensure that software backups are created and maintained to protect plant machinery

Hours:
38 per week
Monday Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
