Salary: £42,238 basic (Inclusive of shift allowance) rising to £46,395 upon demonstration of site-specific competencies + quarterly bonus

What You Will Do
A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Team Member to join the Engineering team based at a large-scale manufacturing facility in Hartlepool. We are looking for someone to provide first-line expertise to our production areas as part of a small, multi-disciplined engineering team.
Reporting to the Shift Engineer, youll:
Assist the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance
Maintain Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensuring safe working procedures are followed
Provide technical expertise to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime
Suggest and implement improvements to process control systems
Deliver high-quality work, ensuring any deficiencies found are repaired expediently and robustly to prevent recurrence
This position will operate on a shift pattern of 12-hour Days and Nights (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off).

What You Will Need
We are looking for individuals with a problem-solving approach to their work. You should have completed an electrical apprenticeship or possess a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar). Ideally, you will have a background in heavy engineering manufacturing and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Wed also love to speak with individuals who have experience with:
Industrial/domestic wiring
Overhead cranes & associated safety systems
PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley, including HMIs)
AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations
Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters, including speed feedback devices
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Awareness of safety-related control systems
