Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Design Engineer with consulting experience in the UK to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to deliver high-quality designs for various projects across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

   • Develop and deliver electrical designs for projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and other building services.
   
   
   • Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software.

   • Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient designs.
   
   
   • Attend project meetings and provide technical input during all project phases.

   • Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK building codes, regulations, and standards.

   • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
   
   
   
   

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.


• Proven experience in electrical design within a consulting environment in the UK.


• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design tools.


• Strong knowledge of UK building codes, regulations, and standards.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.


• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable.
