Electrical Design Engineer (HV)

About the Role:A client of ours is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on a variety of renewables projects. Main purpose of the role is producing electrical designs from 11kV-33kV, with some knowledge of 132kV designs preferable. Projects worked on include BESS, data centres, solar parks and industrial & commercial.Package:Salary - Up to 85kWorking conditions - Hybrid (flexible dependent on location)Selected Key Responsibilities:Producing preliminary and detailed engineering designs from LV – 132kVLiaising with DNO/IDNO to get design approval.Leading on the management of the customer through the design processProject cost estimates and reportsObtaining technical or major procurement item quotationsAssisting and mentoring junior team members in their developmentChecking quality and technicalities of work produced by other team members.Selected Skills/Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Distribution Design up to and including 132kV or possess extensive and specialist experience within LV and 33kV.Possess a Degree/HND level qualification in a relevant Engineering subject.Experienced in using Windebut SoftwareExperienced in using AutoCAD softwarePossess a clean current driving licence
