Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed design calculations and create sketches as required by project specifications.
- Apply technical engineering knowledge to develop design solutions.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Technicians on design and drawing tasks.
- Assist in surveys, design, specification, and contract administration.
- Engage in feasibility studies, concept, and scheme design stages.
- Attend and contribute to design team meetings.
- Inspect and report on electrical building services systems.
- Use specialised software for Building Services calculations.
- Ensure designs comply with legislative and health and safety standards.
- Produce and mark up drawings for CAD design or direct CAD design drawings.
- Select and specify appropriate products, equipment, and standards for Electrical services.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- Eligibility for Incorporated Engineer status with IET or CIBSE.
- Proficiency in designing electrical systems from concept to detailed design stages (BSRIA BG6 Stage 4A).
- Experience with low voltage electrical distribution, lighting, small power, fixed power, fire alarm and detection, ICT structured cabling, and cable containment.
- Skilled in the use of Amtech and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of Building Regulations Part L compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
