Intermediate Electrical Engineer - Manchester - To �50K + Package

If you prefer working from home most of the time; and have at least three years' experience in the building services industry, then this one's for you. As a founding member of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership, this global engineering and construction consultancy has played a huge part in generating growth and opportunities in the North of England.

Due to securing more major frameworks they are now looking for an additional Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer for their team of 200 MEP Engineers and Architects.

Working from home four days a week, you'll enjoy a diverse role of design, design management and acting as a technical advisor to major Government clients.

You'll see a variety of projects through from feasibility studies, design and construction and be involved in both new build, and major refurbishment projects across the North of England.

You'll enjoy working for a company that has revolutionised many aspects of construction and the built environment; and encouraged a culture of continuous improvement across their entire supply chain.

Reporting to the Head of Electrical Engineering you'll be involved in providing expert advice to clients such as the DfE, MoD, MoJ and DWP on designing, building, decarbonising or maintaining their existing built assets.

Despite being largely a home-based role, you'll also receive a Travel Allowance of �6K per year, 7% pension, 27 days annual leave, a discretionary annual bonus (typically 5% - 7.5%) ongoing CPD and an annual salary review and increase.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience as an Electrical, Building Services Design Engineer.
• Able to work in the UK without the need to be sponsored.
• Previous experience reviewing other consultants designs and reviewing contractors' proposals.
• Able to use building services software such as Amtech (Trimble Pro Design) Revit, AutoCAD or ElectricalOM.
