Salary: £50 000 - £65 000/annum

Our client is hiring anElectrical Design Support Engineer with experience in designing 11kV Electrical Distribution connections.
Job Description:
The Electrical Design Engineer, duties will include:
Undertake Primary Substation network design (11kV- 33kV), undertaking assessment of networks as appropriate.
As part of the role you will also ensure thesafe adoption of distribution networksoperating up to 11KV.
The Electrical Design Support Engineer will ensure the safe adoption of distribution networks operating up to 11kV.
High Voltage (HV) Network and Substation design.
Produce compliant designs in accordance with customer and UIP requirements/constraints.
Understand and apply iDNO Industry design standards and ENA ER standards where applicable.
Liaise withDNO/iDNO/UIPs, ICPson all aspects of design.
Management of applications for Electrical connections on to the upstream operators network.
Manage the relationship between all upstream parties for capacity and demand negotiations.
Experience Required:
We are looking for anElectrical Design Engineerwith electrical network design experience of up to at least 11kV.
Power Distribution experience.
Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with AutoCAD - A good understanding of 2D CAD drawing is essential.
Electricity network design experience with the ability to use design software.
We are looking for High Voltage (HV) Design Experience.
Experience working directly with customers and offering account support.
Enthusiastic, analytical and forward-thinking Design Support Engineer to ensure the safe adoption of distribution networks operating up 11kV.
