Electrical Design Engineer

Tank Recruitment have been engaged to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer for one of our clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our client's team in the Southwest.

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Electrical Design Engineer shall carry out full electrical analysis and design from concept through to delivery on site of a project. They will access and ascertain key principles associated with the electrical elements of any given project and design systems to the agreed RIBA stage.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Experience with Electrical Design Software like: IES Design, Trimble MEP / Amtech and proficient with Revit
• Be able to Design systems to the agree RIBA stage as set out by Head of Design.
• Work collaboratively with wider design team, this includes Mechanical disciplined design engineer and the wider Revit Team.
• Able to carry complex analysis of systems when inheriting Designs to develop from third party consultants and designers.
• The ability to understand complex analysis software.
• Ability to Co-ordinate with other services within the virtual 3D Revit environment.
• Provide technical advice to the project delivery team when required and assist with technical queries from the Pre-Construction department.
• Have the ability to carry out full electrical analysis and design from concept through to delivery on site.
• Be able to understand the reality of the design being conceived and how that will be implemented into a real-life scenario.
• Undertake complex system drafting with the 3D Revit environment and be competent to work un-aided within Revit.
• Produce engineering schedules in the agreed format.
• Assist with the commission process should there be a system performance issue this is only from a remote technical analysis.

Desired skills (Only adds to application, not an issue if no experience):

• Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs) experience
• SC Cleared
