An established business who have taken a new approach to their solution and are actively succeeding now requires an Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis to complete their engineering team.

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:



  • Design & develop electrical systems


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical design into larger systems


  • Create detailed schematics and documentation for industrial automation


Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:



  • Solid experience of electrical design for automated machinery


  • Background of design for manufacture highly advantageous


  • Safety system design and test preferred, but providing you have some machinery safety knowledge, the client is willing to fund official courses


  • Solid ability with AutoCAD Electrical OR similar package i.e. SOlidWorks, SEE Electrical, EPlan


Historically, they have offered only bespoke machinery designs, however to remain competitive and develop, there is now additionally a standard design available which has enabled them to drastically expand their customer base. The incoming Electrical Designer will take involvement in a mix of custom work and continual upgrading/specific client modifications to standard designs.

A small but friendly team, they offer flexible and hybrid working. With additional manufacturing sites in China and Taiwan, there are opportunities for travel if you wish, although this is not essential.

Located in Oxfordshire, this role would be commutable from Oxford, Witney, Kidlington, Cirencester and Bicester.
