Electrical Design Engineer

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer to join our client's team in Dorset. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who thrives completing challenging projects, with a keen interest in a diverse electrical & electronics engineering hardware focused role.

Electrical Design Engineer

£35-50k – Dependent on Experience Level

37-hour week – 1pm Friday Finish – Additional Friday off per month (on top of holiday), 25 Days + BH to start, increasing to 30 with service

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

* Design & development of complex electrical schematics for bespoke projects

* Designs will incorporate robotics, switchgear, electronics and some PCB

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

* Electrical safety experience highly beneficial

* Experience of an industrial electrical CAD package i.e. AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, Solid Edge or SEE Electrical

* Experience of Electronic Engineering, Circuit Design, and Electrical Engineering

* Strong analytical skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team

* Skilled at working collaboratively with customers and suppliers

* Knowledge of hardware, power systems and control electronics
