Electronic/Electrical R&D Engineer



Location: Warwickshire



Status: Permanent position



Salary: Circa �55K - �58K, depending on skill level and experience

Role Overview:



We are seeking an experienced Electronic/Electrical R&D Engineer to support their R&D and Manufacturing activities. This is a permanent position based in the Midlands, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design, develop, and update electrical and electronic components and assemblies.

  • Support new and existing products, including high-power and high-voltage switched-mode power supplies and control electronics.

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Quality teams to address current issues and develop solutions.

  • Conduct testing and development throughout the product life cycle, ensuring conformance with Electromagnetic Compatibility regulations and relevant electrical safety standards.

  • Utilize ECAD software for schematic capture, PCB layout, and wiring diagram generation.



Qualifications:




  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in hardware (analogue and digital) electronic engineering.

  • Broad knowledge of high-voltage components such as power supplies, DC-DC converters, inverters, and chargers.

  • Proficient in the use of ECAD software for schematic capture, PCB layout, and wiring diagram generation.

  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic components and assemblies.
