We're looking for an Electrical Engineer (Appointed Person) to join our Natural Resources Team based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

 

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer (Appointed Person), you'll be working within our Natural Resources business unit, supporting our site teams in Electrical Supervision and Control of Electrical Isolation Works within the Mogden treatment works site, which is a project operating within the water industry.
Your day to day will include:


  • Providing electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects with particular emphasis on the water recycling industry.
  • Establishing client requirements and delivering the operation of engineering design solutions.
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain and supporting the contractor delivery and commissioning process.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with all stakeholders including the client-side, internal and supply chain to ensure the project outcomes are achieved.
  • Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
  • Support with work relating to financial forecasts and reviews with Commercial Team 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Electrical Engineer (Appointed Person) is great for you if you:


  • Experience in supervising electrical installation on capital projects and carrying out Authorised Person duties.
  • Fully qualified electrician
  • Good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690V and 420V and of control and instrumentation cable installation.
  • The ability to read electrical designs and ensure installations meet approved designs and identify when they don't.
