Electrical Engineer with Solar experience

We have a new role for a talented Electrical Engineer with renewables experience to join this successful and growing company in Glasgow.They provide a range of technologies aimed at assisting the clean energy transition. You will be working on designs, installations and servicing for solar PV, heat pumps, battery storage, EV chargers and so on. They are happy to train you in the areas where you might not have had experience before.They will look at people at two different levels - either someone who has around 2-3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer working on solar PV projects and is 18th Edition qualified. The work is for domestic customers as well as commercial clients. The role will involve working on projects across Scotland and you will be required to stay away at times.You should have a BPEC in battery and solar and you should be a qualified electrical engineer.They will also consider good electrical engineers who are 18th Edition qualified but who just have a little exposure to solar - in that case they will provide plenty of training.You should have excellent customer-facing skills and strong problem-solving ability.The company are friendly and professional - it's a good place to work.
