Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer who is a great team player? If so, please read on.
I have an opportunity with my client based in Brighouse where you'll be part of a 3 man Facilities team.
Your Responsibilities
' Manage all aspects of electrical maintenance, issue resolution and investments across our facilities and equipment from installation, reporting and upgrade requirements.
' Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.
' Upholding and contributing to the client's excellent health and safety standards, regulations and record
' Action a range of building management and requirements including small building works, minor repairs and maintenance light activities such as office moves, painting, plumbing etc.
' Manage all audit, reporting and compliance requirements associated with your role
' Work with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are captured and managed in line with SLA's.
' Manage any contractor or 3rd party supplier relationships associated with your role, ensuring contract delivery, policy and procedure adherence and value for money
' Proactively communicate with colleagues and 3rd parties to deliver the highest level of service delivery.
' Establish and enforce construction, manufacturing, and installation standards.
' Ensure adherence to building, fire, health and safety regulations, adhering to policies and procedures and industry best practices.
' System maintenance, inspections, and upgrades, in addition to manage any associated contractors or 3rd parties as when required.
' Manage associated budgets, SLA's and KPI's associated with your role

You will be.
' A qualified 17th edition, ideally 18th edition certificate or qualified apprentice trained electrician
' Comfortable working across two sites and being included in an on call rota, which results in enhanced compensation to your salary.
' Have a full clean driving license, would be an advantage
' Have exceptional electrical fault finding and resolution experience
' Have experience of electrical engineering in a manufacturing, ideally print environment, specifically mllers or print press, would be a significant advantage.
' Have experience of working independently and as part of a team, making timely decisions and making your schedule(s) to ensure timely issue resolution and action
' Are a team player, your comfortable action tasks withing your skillset or quickly learning new skills to deliver tasks outside your electrical expertise
' Are a natural people person, comfortable dealing with technical experts and non-experts, to proactively manage expectations and keep actions/projects on track.
' Have exceptional customer service skills, tenacious and resilient problem solver
' Have an understanding of how your work impacts others and high levels of commitment to resolve issues in a timely manner
' Have qualifications, and/or experience with building, plumbing and other maintenance trades would be a significant advantage
' Have health & safety training, awareness (IOSH/NEBOSH) and operational understanding, including risk assessments
' Have authorised persons training on areas such as water treatment, working practices etc, would be a significant advantage.
' Have basic knowledge of project management principles and/por Construction Design Management (CDM), would be a significant advantage.
' Have experience of leading a team, directly or indirectly, would be a significant advantage
