Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer | Covering London and the South East | 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday | £40,000-£45,000 per annum plus overtime and bonus 

Our client is a leading specialist contractor in the energy sector, known for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions. They operate primarily in two key areas: industrial and commercial metering, and high voltage services. Their expertise helps optimise building management efficiency and ensure uninterrupted power supply.

As part of this fantastic team, you'll play a vital role in supporting both existing and new smart metering and multi-utility projects across the South of England, with a particular focus on London.

It's an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team that's not only skilled but also great to collaborate with.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Level 3 electrical installation City & Guilds, or ONC
• Experience in a similar role in electrical installation or commissioning
• Willingness to travel
• Good attitude towards Health and Safety at work
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Computer literate

What will your role look like?

• Facilitate all aspects of the installation and commissioning of industrial and commercial smart metering
• Produce commissioning test sheets and reports to customers
• Install and test smart metering installations
• Installation of Modbus and Mbus networks (experience would be nice, but not essential)
• Fault-finding on installations (experience would be nice, but not essential)
• You may be required to work occasional overtime of a weekend
