Electrical Engineer

A leading MEP contractor is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector.
The role

• As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a Hyperscale data centre project in London.
• Co-ordinating the technical design with the onsite installation through to commissioning.
• Completing the electrical design review to find design gaps and deviations, or contradictions in the specifications.
• Managing submittals through the approvals process, tracking the procurement and delivery of electrical equipment, and completing the receipt verification process once the equipment is delivered.

Could this role be for you?

• Ideally project engineering experience of 3 years+ with an electrical contractor.
• 3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV & MV systems in the building services/ data centre sector.
• Previous experience of delivering electrical projects (mission critical projects - data centre, pharma, industrial).
• Commercial awareness.
• Capability of walking down electrical systems to confirm compliance with specification.
