Electrical Engineer - Freelance (Outside IR35)

On-site delivering a new build Power station in Essex over the 12 - 18 months

• Location: Thurrock, Essex
• Salary: £340 - £360 (Outside IR35) per day
• Site-based, minimum of 3 days a week, ideally 4 days due to the programme but there is flexibility to work from home as the programme requires.

Role Description:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an M&E contractor who has been awarded the installation of a new Power station based in Essex. At present we are mobilising a team to deliver the programme over the next 12 - 18 months, hence looking for a temporary/freelance contractor to support the delivery of the scheme.
Your duties will vary depending on the programme of works but could include:

• Ensuring quality is maintained and approving of electrical design deliverable,
• Making independent decisions on Electrical Engineering issues and bring it to the attention of the Technical and Operations team.

• Putting Health, Safety, and Environment protection at the heart of the work being undertaken from the Design through to Delivery stage .

• To direct and coordinate all project electrical engineering issues related to equipment specification, procurement, and installation design such as: Procurement strategy, Preparation of specifications, and Selection of suppliers.

• To discuss the project deliverable with Engineering Project Managers and to ensure their timely and cost-effective execution.
