Working Hours: 2 days on 2 days off - 12 hour shift patterns (6am - 6pm)

Role Overview:

\n

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team within Meal Solutions Cavaghan & Grey division and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

\n

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key part of a team providing a high level of engineering service to the business and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out daily electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
  • \n
  • Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
  • \n
  • Working within a fast-paced environment covering all the electrical engineering maintenance activities.

About you

\n

You will have a minimum of qualification of NVQ Level 3 but we warmly welcome individuals who have recently completed their apprenticeship programs and are eager to take the next step in their careers.

  • Apprentice trained Electrical Engineer, ideally with Food or FMCG manufacturing experience, but we're keen to hear from engineers from all industries looking for a new challenge.
  • \n

  • Prior experience or working in a planned/reactive maintenance role
  • \n
  • Proactive approach to engineering with experience of root cause analysis to resolve recurring problems.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work closely with colleagues at all levels across the business.
  • \n
  • Team player - keen to learn from others, share knowledge and experience, and support the wider team.
  • \n
