Electrical Engineer

Due to further growth a leading engineering consultancy are seeking an Electrical Engineer with proven experience across electrical design and understanding of control systems to join their team of specialist engineers.�
Reporting to the Team Lead you will be responsible for the following:�

• Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics for LV switchgear using CAD software, ensuring all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements


• Produce functional design specifications for control systems in compliance with industry


• Oversee electrical control system projects from design through to installation and commissioning


• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, including organising and attending FAT & SAT tests

For this role you will require:

• HNC or Degree in an Electrical Engineer discipline�


• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP SEE Electrical or similar)


• Understanding of wiring regulations such as BS7671 & IEC Standards�


• Having strong knowledge of PLC Programming would be an advantage�
