Role- Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Salary- �38,000 - �42,000 per annum (dependant on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Stoke-on-Trent

My client works within the engineering sector and they are looking to take on an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HNC/ NVQ/ C&G qualified or similar in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent hands-on servicing or maintenance experience in a similar role
  • Be confident in responding to faults
  • Be able to read engineering drawings
  • Have a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Have good communication skills
  • Working at height training would be desirable
  • Any HV experience would also be advantageous but not essential as training can be given
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
  • Ensuring that all electrical equipment is running safely and efficiently
  • Working with both reactive and proactive maintenance methods
  • Being involved in preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment
  • Fault finding, test work and modifications to processes when required
  • Fault find on control panels and wiring of motors
  • Installing and replacing cabling as required
  • Working on ant breakdowns in an efficient and timely manner
  • Work alongside other colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Liaising with Contractors when required too
  • Working from electrical drawings
  • Working in confined spaces and also at height
  • Always having Continuous Improvement and Health & Safety in mind
