£46,330 (Rotating schedule of three weeks of 12-hour shifts (days and nights), followed by one week of daytime shifts, with on-call duty one week in every five.

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? My client is a leading player in the heavy recycling industry. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical maintenance operations, working with high-powered machinery and cutting-edge technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Set Priorities: Follow guidance from shift production teams to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Conduct Maintenance: Execute breakdown maintenance and carry out planned preventative maintenance to optimize machine availability and performance.
• Engage in Projects: Play a significant role in project development, installation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Guarantee the safe operation of all plant and equipment, adhering strictly to Health & Safety requirements.
• Minimize Downtime: React swiftly to minimize machine downtime while balancing proactive maintenance activities.
• Integrate Processes: Utilize your understanding of the manufacturing process to seamlessly integrate engineering efforts with production personnel.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:-

Experience with the following is desirable, but not essential as in house training will be provided:

• PLC Systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
• Instrumentation Systems (Thermocouples, level control, Loop Control)
• Inverter drive control
• Gas Burner Control Systems
• 3-phase Overhead Crane Systems
• General fault finding & diagnostics skills
