Electrical Project Integration Lead

Job Description
On behalf of one of our automotive EV OEM clients, we are actively looking to recruit for an electrical systems integration project leader. Our client is taking an innovative approach to its line of vehicles targeting value for money and sustainability which sets them apart from the crowd.
Position overview:
As the EE Project Integration Lead, you will play the leading role in the development and integration of EE sub-systems into the overall vehicle programme. This is a role for a hands-on self-starter that is comfortable specifying requirements at sub-system and component level, defining appropriate tests and conducting hands-on testing and fault finding. It is a unique opportunity for an ambitious engineer to take the next step in their career and develop into a leadership role.
Experience:
A minimum of ten years’ experience is essential and preferably most of this will be in automotive.
Must have experience of running EE integration activities for a complex system incorporating several electronic control units.
Extensive hands-on experience of integration of EE sub-systems into a series production vehicle. Ideally some of this experience will be with EVs.
Ideally the candidate will have had exposure to the full development V-cycle.
Skills:
In depth working knowledge of the specification and verification and validation methods for complex electronic control systems.
Fluent in developing requirements specifications for electrical and electronic systems. Hands on experience of using requirements management tools.
Fully conversant with the use of testing tools e.g. Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, oscilloscopes, data loggers.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills. Experience of working with Chinese vehicle manufactures desirable.
