Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for fire protection and security systems? Join my clients dynamic Fire and Security team and lead the planning, execution, and completion of critical projects that make a difference!

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. You will be directly responsible for on-time delivery and budget management for individual projects, cost tracking, and managing life cycle replacement and additional client works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and closing phases of projects.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and produce progress reports.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide training and handover documentation to clients upon project completion.
What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in project management within the electrical or fire & security industries.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectively.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Fire and Security industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fire and security systems (fire alarms, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms).
  • Strong understanding of British Standards and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Prince2, PMP, FIA qualifications).
