Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team at our head office in Brentwood reporting to our Compliance Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social housing and be responsible for overseeing job completions, ensuring compliance standards are met, and signing off certifications from EICRs carried out. This role will also involve visiting properties for post inspections and shadowing operatives to ensure they are working to standards. While this role is primarily office-based, occasional site visits will be required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee completed jobs and ensure compliance standards are met
Conduct visual checks of photographs provided by electricians and verify the accuracy of certifications from EICRs.
Visit properties to conduct post work inspections and shadow operatives to ensure standards are maintained.
Ensure all electrical work complies with current British standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Experience & Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
2391 Test and Inspection certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in social housing.
Strong understanding of EICR processes and requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Confidence and knowledge to enrol on our NICEIC as a QS.
